Adventures with little Porsches
Welcome to a corner of the internet dedicated to small Porsches. As you may have guessed from the the title, Little Porsche Grid (LPG) is dedicated to the smaller Porsches. We are indiscriminate here and are happy to post pics of Hot Wheels, Lego, Matchbox, Schuco or any smaller scale Porsches. The site was started as one Porsche enthusiasts creative outlet.
If you have a little Porsche you would like to show the world, email me a picture(s) and a story about the car. The story can be as short or as long as you like. Often the stories surrounding the car and/or the picture are real gems.

The 918s at Ithaca College
I took along a small collection of 918s on a recent trip to Ithaca, New York. My oldest son is a student at Ithaca College which has a reflecting pool with fountains that made a great back drop. I used the first ever little Porsche photo shoot at McCormick Square in Chicago as inspiration.

934 RSR Falken NC
Every Thanksgiving we get up with family in North Carolina. This year we went to the coast and enjoyed some fall beach time. Figuring we might see some cooperative weather, I brought along one car for a photo shoot.

911 Polizei in Zuffenhausen
Of the three cars I took to Zuffenhausen, I’m not sure which I had more fun photographing with their real counterpart. Between me and you, I think it was this one. The 1 millionth sports car to roll off the assembly line was delivered to the Polizei.

917 Trüffel Jäger in Zuffenhausen
Once again, having the good fortune to have some of my little Porsches with me in Zuffenhausen, I took the opportunity to shoot a few of my cars with their real world counterpart. It was not luck though. I knew at least two of my livery cars were in the museum. An astute Porsche person…

934 RSR in Zuffenhausen
It’s not everyday one has the opportunity to take shots of your little Porsches in Porsche central. At the end of October 2022, I was fortunate enough to travel to Zuffenhausen to tour the 911 factory and spend hours in the Porsche Museum. I only wish I took more of my cars and took more…

993 White Livery with Friend
I’ve been waiting for a good time to get a shot of this White Livery 993. Besides it being a cool car with a nice livery, it is also the only Hot Wheel closest in body shape to the 996. I’ve yet to find a Hot Wheel 996. Be sure, I’ll keep looking though. This…

James Bond DB5
It’s not a Porsche, but it’s a classic. Lego recently released the Aston Martin DB5 in the Speed Champions lineup to resounding applause. The car is well done with some nice touches. To start with, the wheels come with shiny, silver spoked rims. The front grill is painted on versus stickers and the car is…

935 Slant Nose German Livery
On a recent trip to Deep Creek Lake, MD I took along the 930 slant nose just in case I saw an opportunity to get some nice photos. As it happened, just outside the house is a nice rock in the shade with a pine tree backdrop. So, here are the first shots I’ve taken…

911 with a 911
On a recent trip to the Carlisle, PA Porsche only swap meet I met an artist who was selling some of his work. The artist is Stephen Landau of Block Prints. His particular form of art is lino art or linoleum. Essentially, he starts with a block of linoleum and removes material until what is left…
